Park Rules & Regulations
Entering the park means accepting the rules. Staff can enforce these rules, including warnings and removal from the park in serious cases.
1) Right of Admission and House Rules
1.1 By entering the park, you agree to comply with the park rules.
1.2 Park staff are authorized and empowered to enforce the right of admission. This includes, in particular, the issuing of warnings, termination of the user agreement, and expulsion from the park.
An expulsion following termination of the user agreement is permitted especially in cases of grossly improper behavior by the visitor, such as repeated violations of staff instructions that make it unreasonable to continue the agreement.
As a rule, a warning must be issued before termination and expulsion. In exceptional cases of particularly serious or repeated violations, this requirement may be waived.
2) Entry and Stay on the Premises
2.1 Access to the park grounds is only permitted with a valid admission ticket and through the designated and marked visitor entrances.
2.2 Children under the age of 14 may only enter the park when accompanied by a responsible adult. The same applies to persons who, due to mental or physical conditions, are unable to comply with the park rules. For group visits, a responsible group leader must be named to the park, who is accountable for ensuring compliance with the park rules.
2.3 Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be denied entry or expelled from the park.
2.4 Admission tickets must be kept during the visit and shown upon request. Tickets are only valid on the day of purchase and expire upon leaving the park. If you need to briefly return to your vehicle, re-entry is only possible with a hand stamp and only until 4:30 p.m.
2.5 Annual passes are valid for one year from the date of purchase and allow free admission to the park during regular opening hours for the general public.
2.6 Anyone found in the park without a valid ticket will be charged double the regular admission price.
2.7 Temporary exits from the park are only allowed by special arrangement with the entrance staff.
2.8 Exchange or replacement of misplaced or lost tickets is not possible.
2.9 In cases of force majeure, technical failures, or maintenance-related closures of individual attractions, or changes in offerings, no price reductions can be granted (see also section 3.3). During the winter break or in the event of temporary closures due to special circumstances—such as weather-related shutdowns, storm warnings, or necessary health and safety measures due to infections or other hazards—there is no entitlement to partial refunds or extensions of ticket validity for any type of admission ticket.
3) Operating Hours of Rides
3.1 Self-service ride operation is available daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
3.2 Ride operation with staff is available daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
3.3 Changes to the range of attractions and their operating hours may occur depending on the season, weather conditions, or visitor numbers (see also section 2.9).
4) Duty of Supervision
We kindly remind all parents and group supervisors to fulfill their duty of supervision responsibly, as we cannot assume this responsibility for you. Within this framework, supervisors and parents are also liable for any damages caused by those under their care (see also section 2.2).
5) General Safety Regulations
5.1 Visitors must follow the instructions of our staff and comply with all posted signs without exception.
5.2 Visitors are not permitted to leave designated paths and areas within the park.

5.6 Fire safety regulations must be observed. In particular, open fires may only be lit in designated barbecue areas.
6) Use of Facilities and Attractions
6.1 The use of playground equipment, play areas, and similar facilities is at your own risk.
6.2 All facilities are available to you within the framework of the applicable user regulations (e.g., age and height restrictions as listed on our website or on signs posted in the park at the respective attractions). Please be sure to follow all instructions posted at the attractions and the directions given by our staff. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from using the attraction, without any right to compensation. This also applies if you attempt to skip the queue.
6.3 Animals may not be chased, picked up, or frightened.
6.4 Smoking is not permitted on or near rides or in queues.
6.5 You are liable for any damages caused intentionally or through negligence, especially those resulting from disregarding user instructions or staff directions, or from willful damage.
7) Barbecue Regulations
7.1 Use of the barbecue facilities is at your own risk.
7.2 All grilling must be completed by 6:00 p.m.
7.3 Never leave the barbecue unattended.
7.4 Leave the fireplace only once the ashes have cooled down and you have checked that everything is in proper condition.

8.3 Dogs are not allowed on playgrounds, in animal enclosures, petting areas, or on rides. Please keep a safe distance from children and other animals.
8.4 Apart from dogs, no other pets are allowed in the park.
9) Limitations of Liability
9.1 We accept unlimited liability for culpable injury to life, body, or health caused by us or our agents, as well as for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty by us or our agents, provided no essential contractual obligations have been violated. In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations by us or our agents, we are liable for culpable conduct. However, in the case of slightly negligent breaches of such obligations, our liability is limited to the typical and foreseeable damages under the contract. Any further liability is excluded. The provisions of the German Product Liability Act remain unaffected.
9.2 As a general rule, we do not assume liability for items brought into the park. This particularly applies to items that are left behind or lost.
10) Reporting of Damages
10.1 All facilities in the park are carefully maintained and monitored.
10.2 If you suffer any damage through no fault of your own, please report it to the information desk before leaving the park grounds. We also ask that you report any incidents that might potentially lead to damage at a later time.
11) Parking
11.1 The German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply on all our parking areas.
11.2 To ensure smooth traffic flow, the instructions of our parking staff must be strictly followed.
11.3 Please park your vehicle only within the designated parking spaces. If you park outside these areas and obstruct traffic, we reserve the right to have your vehicle towed at your own risk and expense.
11.4 We cannot provide compensation for damages caused by force majeure such as storms, hail, fire, theft, or damage caused by others. This does not apply if the damage was caused by our staff. However, even in such cases, compensation can only be granted if the damage is reported to Freizeitpark Lochmühle before leaving the parking area.
12) Audio and Visual Recordings, Commerce, and Advertising
12.1 Advertising and any kind of commercial activity on our premises or in our parking areas, including the offering of goods or services, are only permitted with prior written approval from management.
12.2 Commercial audio, photo, and video recordings are only allowed with prior authorization from park management.
13) Video Surveillance
Certain publicly accessible areas of Freizeitpark Lochmühle are under video surveillance for your safety and are marked with appropriate signage.
If video footage is recorded, it will be deleted without delay once it is no longer necessary for the intended purpose or if the legitimate interests of those affected outweigh continued storage.
14) Photo Captures at Attractions
When using certain attractions, such as the tractor ride, photos are taken during the ride. These images are displayed on screens at the exit and offered to visitors without obligation for purchase.
For data protection reasons, all images are automatically and permanently deleted at the end of each day without exception.
15) Final Provisions and Place of Jurisdiction
15.1 German law shall apply exclusively. No verbal side agreements exist.
15.2 For all disputes arising from this contractual relationship, the court with jurisdiction over the defendant’s general place of jurisdiction shall apply.
15.3 For legal actions brought by Freizeitpark Lochmühle against merchants, legal entities under public or private law, or individuals without a general place of jurisdiction in Germany, or who relocate their place of residence or habitual abode abroad after concluding the contract, or whose place of residence or habitual abode is unknown at the time the action is filed, the exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of Freizeitpark Lochmühle.
15.4 In accordance with the German Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters, we note that we do not participate in any voluntary dispute resolution procedures. Should participation become mandatory after these terms and conditions are published, we will inform users appropriately.
